Publication Policies

Publication Policies

The Journal of Comprehensive Research in Cancer Nursing (JCRCN) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct in publishing. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to adhere to the following policies:

Peer Review Policy

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure impartial evaluation. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise in the relevant field, and the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process.

Plagiarism Policy

JCRCN maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism. All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software. Any article with plagiarized content will be rejected outright or retracted if discovered after publication.

Ethical Approval and Informed Consent

For studies involving human participants, animals, or patient data, authors must:

  • Obtain ethical clearance from a recognized ethics committee.
  • Provide a statement of informed consent from participants or legal guardians.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines such as the Declaration of Helsinki.

Conflict of Interest Policy

All authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could be perceived as potential conflicts of interest. A Conflict of Interest Statement must be submitted along with the manuscript.

Data Availability and Reproducibility

Authors are encouraged to provide access to raw data and supplementary materials to support reproducibility and verification of findings. Data sharing enhances transparency and scientific integrity.

Authorship Criteria

All listed authors must have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study. The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors have approved the final manuscript before submission.

Corrections and Retractions

JCRCN is committed to maintaining the accuracy of the scholarly record.

  • Corrections will be issued for minor errors that do not alter the conclusions.
  • Retractions will be made in cases of major errors, ethical breaches, or research misconduct.

Open Access Policy

JCRCN follows an open access model, allowing free and unrestricted access to all published content. This promotes the wide dissemination of research and ensures global visibility for authors.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright of their work, which is published under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY). This allows others to share, adapt, and build upon the work with proper attribution.

Withdrawal Policy

Authors may request withdrawal of their manuscript before peer review begins. Once the review process starts, withdrawal is discouraged and must be justified with valid reasons, subject to editorial approval.
