Publication Policies

The Journal of Agricultural Technology and Innovation (JATI) is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethical practices in publishing. Our publication policies are designed to foster transparency, accuracy, and the ethical dissemination of research. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to adhere to these guidelines to ensure the credibility and quality of each publication.

1. Peer Review Process

  • All manuscripts submitted to JATI undergo a double-blind peer review process, ensuring unbiased and fair evaluation by experts in the field.
  • Reviewers evaluate submissions based on originality, scientific validity, clarity, relevance, and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Decisions on acceptance, rejection, or required revisions are based on the reviewers’ feedback and the editor’s judgment.

2. Author Responsibilities

  • Originality: Authors must ensure that their submitted work is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
  • Authorship: All individuals who made significant contributions to the research must be listed as co-authors, and all co-authors must approve the final manuscript.
  • Data Accuracy: Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the data presented and must retain all relevant data for verification.
  • Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the research or interpretation of findings.
  • Ethical Approval: Research involving human or animal subjects must have appropriate ethical approvals and must comply with relevant laws and guidelines.

3. Plagiarism Policy

  • JATI strictly prohibits plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are screened for originality using reliable plagiarism detection software.
  • Any instance of plagiarism will result in immediate rejection of the manuscript and may lead to further investigation or disciplinary actions.

4. Open Access and Copyright

  • Open Access Options: JATI offers an open access publishing option, allowing authors to make their work freely accessible to the global community.
  • Copyright: Upon acceptance, authors may choose to transfer copyright to the journal or retain it under an open-access Creative Commons license. Authors must acknowledge any prior use or permissions obtained for copyrighted material.

5. Ethical Responsibilities of Editors and Reviewers

  • Confidentiality: Editors and reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript content and refrain from discussing or sharing information outside the review process.
  • Impartiality: Decisions must be based solely on the academic merit of the submission and its relevance to the journal’s scope.
  • Conflict of Interest: Editors and reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and recuse themselves if such conflicts exist.

6. Corrections, Retractions, and Withdrawals

  • Corrections: Authors may request corrections to published articles. JATI will evaluate requests and issue corrections when errors are identified.
  • Retractions: Articles may be retracted if substantial ethical or data-related issues are discovered post-publication.
  • Withdrawals: Authors may withdraw their manuscript prior to publication with written consent and approval from the editorial office.

7. Privacy Policy

JATI respects the privacy and confidentiality of authors, reviewers, and readers. Personal information is collected solely for managing submissions and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
