Evaluating how Rapid Response Training affects the usage of Early Warning Scores and results for patients in acute care units
Vol.1(2); Pages:1-7. Published on July-2025
Abstract
The Early Warning Score (EWS) helps doctors detect patients who are getting worse, so they can step in early for better outcomes. The impact of the Rapid Response Training (RRT) program on nurse use of EWS and results for patients was studied in this research. The nurses involved in this intervention were from two tertiary hospitals and the process lasted for two weeks, with part of it being spent on practice in stressful situations and observing actual clinical cases. Data on patients taken before and after the training were examined to check how fast the students responded, how correctly they escalated and what the end results were. Research findings showed that the people in the intervention group experienced greater efficiency in their response and fewer accidental ICU transfers (p < 0.01). It highlights that focusing on training for frontline nurses is useful for making rapid response systems more efficient and keeping patients safer in high-risk hospital areas.

Examining Trauma Care Skills in Emergency Rooms: A Theoretical Study of Nursing Expertise
Vol.1(2); Pages:8-16. Published on October-2025
Abstract
The emergency department in trauma care needs nurses who are of high competence level where skills such as critical thinking, swift decisions, and technical competence as well as emotional stability are necessary. The conceptual mapping focuses on what trauma nursing competency is, what it entails, what may cause it and what results may be because of it within the background of emergency care. The analysis applying an integrative framework indicates that such essential foundations of competence include: clinical expertise, communication, teamwork and patient-centered care. This research also identifies such antecedents of competency development as organizational support, continuing education, and simulation-based training; their key outcomes include better patient outcomes and fewer medical errors as well as physician confidence and its growth. Clarifying this theory can form a basis of standardized competency structures, specific training and future study to enhance the care of trauma in high acuity emergencies setting.

Influence of Effective Nurse-Patient Interaction on Anxiety Levels Among Non-Urgent Triage Patients
Vol.1(2); Pages:26-33. Published on October-2025
Abstract
Patients who present in a triage setting and fall into the yellow category typically exhibit anxiety as due to the nature of them falling in the yellow category, they are not sure of their condition and of their waiting time. The aim of the study is to determine how therapeutic communication becomes a significant indicator of the levels of anxiety among the yellow triage patients in the Ciremai Hospital. Empathy, active listening, and patientfocused interaction, which are the components of therapeutic communication, play an important role in minimizing stress and ensuring the psychological comfort of patients at the beginning of their hospital stay. The study used a cross-sectional design with a cross sectional observation and validated patient anxiety scales to determine association between communication strategies and patient anxiety. Findings show that there is a significant negative correlational relationship between the quality of therapeutic communication and the reported anxiety of the patients, which points out that patient-reported anxiety can be vastly decreased by practicing effective nurse-patient communication. Such data prove the value of including the training in therapeutic communication into the working process and triage procedures to enhance patient experience and raise the level of care delivery in general.

Harnessing Machine Learning for Advancing Evidence-Based Nursing Practice and Clinical Decision-Making
Vol.1(2); Pages:34-42. Published on October-2025
Abstract
ML has become a revolutionary resource to the nursing research community since it provides enhanced processes of analyzing complex healthcare data, predicting patient outcomes, and guidance-evidence research decisions. The proposed scoping review will apply an existing body of literature to the use of machine learning algorithms in nursing studies to determine the most effective method of computation and implications in practice. The contributions by key algorithmic techniques(decision trees, support vector machine, neural networks, and ensemble based models) in clinical prediction, patient monitoring, and nursing education are also touched upon. The review also addresses issues surrounding data quality, interpretability, ethical issues and how it can be applied in a real-life context. The evidence shows that machine learning has a considerable potential to improve the level of research and practice in nursing, but the ways forward are to design models that can be explained, integrate data better and come up with common evaluation structures. This document is a resource with detailed background to the development of the use of machine learning in nursing, filling in the clinical application of machine learning.

Handling Non-Tubal Ectopic Pregnancy in a Tertiary Care Rural Environment
Vol.1(1); Pages:1-9. Published on April-2025
Abstract
Non-tubal ectopic pregnancies which involve implantation in regions beyond the fallopian tubes including the cervix, cesarean scar area and interstitial portion and ovaries of the uterus are rare but dangerous manifestations of ectopic gestations. Delay in treatment occurs frequently because healthcare professionals struggle to identify these atypical presentations in facilities with restricted medical resources found in rural tertiary care centers. This retrospective analysis of non-tubal ectopic pregnancies studied the clinical characteristics and assessment methods as well as treatment approaches and results from a rural tertiary care facility during five years. The assessment uses transvaginal sonography at an early stage alongside custom treatment approaches from medical therapy to surgery with multidisciplinary teamwork. Data demonstrates the necessity for better awareness programs along with optimal resource management to develop standard procedures in rural maternal healthcare settings.

A 15-year integrative assessment of clinicopathological changes and long-term outcomes in 99 primary ovarian carcinoid tumors
Vol.1(1); Pages:10-17. Published on April-2025
Abstract
Ovarian carcinoid tumors represent rare neuroendocrine neoplasms since they exist in much less than 0.1% of ovarian malignant tumor cases. The analysis examines 99 unique cases from the past 15 years to reveal all important diagnostic approaches and therapeutic procedures in addition to recording patient results and various diagnostic indicators. The insular subtype dominates clinical cases while patients often discover their tumors incidentally through abdominal surface examinations or mass detection and when discovered before metastasis they exhibit positive prognoses. The study emphasizes correct histopathological diagnosis together with surgical interventions which have demonstrated successful outcomes for many cases. The analysis investigates recurrence statistics together with survival results and it demonstrates why specific patient groups require continuous medical monitoring. Updated findings from this work will aid medical practitioners in providing better strategies for managing this rare tumor type.

Rare Clinical Presentation of Perineal Endometriosis Emerging in an Episiotomy Scar
Vol.1(1); Pages:37-42. Published on April-2025
Abstract
Endometrial tissue which grows outside the uterus manifests as perineal endometriosis in a limited way especially in surgical scars of the episiotomy. The case report shows a special instance of perineal endometriosis affecting women who have had episiotomy procedures through its display of periodic pain together with a detectable mass at the site. The diagnosis resulted from clinical assessment together with imaging findings as well as histopathological confirmation. Surgical removal of the affected tissues eliminated all symptoms. Endometriosis must be included in the diagnosis of perineal pain after childbirth because patients who had episiotomies show particular significance in these cases.
