Enhancing Dementia Care in Nursing Homes Through Physical Therapist-Led Exercise: A Systematic Insight
Vol.1(1); Pages:1-9. Published on May-2025
Abstract
Dementia stands as a principal source of disability alongside dependency issues which happen mainly in nursing home residents who are elderly. Medical treatments deliver very little success in controlling dementia symptoms which has led to a growing interest in exercise-based therapy programs under physical therapist supervision. This review investigates the positive results along with supporting characteristics of exercise programs for nursing home dementia patients under physical therapist supervision. Studies investigating this subject were sought from electronic databases during the period from 2010 through 2024 and yielded 18 qualifying research documents accessible for review. Physical therapists implementing exercise programs resulted in substantial improvements of patients’ mobility along with balance and muscle strength and total physical function according to review findings. Participants reported reduced behavioral symptoms together with better sleep quality and improved mood and decreased experiences of agitation and depression. Well-designed exercise programs included personalized treatment plans and combined exercises such as aerobic exercises resistance exercises and balancing activities under the constant oversight of physical therapists. Evidence indicates exercise supervision needs to be part of dementia care models because it enhances both life quality and independence in daily activities. Pursuing additional study should investigate extended evaluation outcomes which need to include structured implementation procedures specific to various nursing home facilities.

Integrating Scientific Writing as a Core Component in Undergraduate Nursing Education: Insights from the University of Dubrovnik, Croatia
Vol.1(1); Pages:10-16. Published on May-2025
Abstract
Modern nursing practice depends crucially on scientific writing abilities that enhance evidence-based care delivery and professional communication and critical thinking skills. The research compares how scientific writing functions as an essential educational requirement for undergraduate nursing students at the University of Dubrovnik in Croatia. The education program integrated theoretical learning of academic writing foundations alongside research ethics components and manuscript development techniques into the nursing curriculum. Student and faculty evaluations together with performance ratings demonstrated that the educational program improved both their communication skills and their confidence in scholarly work. Students developed stronger connections to scientific literature as well as an influx of research activities from this initiative. Embedding scientific writing into undergraduate nursing education proves valuable based on these findings while providing other institutions with a model to enhance nursing student research and academic literacy participation.

LDA-Based Topic Modeling Reveals Emerging Themes in Blended Learning
Vol.1(1); Pages:34-41. Published on May-2025
Abstract
Blended learning represents an educational model that combines classroom instruction with internet-based educational components because of technological evolution and teaching requirements. The researchers utilized Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) topic modeling on a substantial scholarly book collection about blended learning to examine its evolution along with uncovering concealed subjects. The extraction of hidden topics in the analysis shows the main research areas while finding developing teaching practices and technological shifts throughout time. These research findings enable both academic investigators and educational designers to approach future studies and instructional methods with evidence-based knowledge about blended learning development..
