Commitment to Integrity, Quality, and Transparency in Research

The International Journal of Applied Science and Technical Research (IJASTR) adheres to strict publication policies to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity and excellence.

1. Originality and Plagiarism

  • Submissions must be original and should not have been published or be under consideration elsewhere.
  • All manuscripts are subjected to plagiarism detection software to ensure originality. Submissions with plagiarism exceeding the allowable limit will be rejected.

2. Peer Review Process

  • All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review to ensure unbiased and rigorous evaluation.
  • The review process includes assessment by at least two independent reviewers and editorial oversight.
  • Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer feedback.

3. Open Access Policy

  • IJASTR operates on an open-access model, ensuring that published articles are freely accessible to researchers, professionals, and the general public worldwide.
  • Authors retain copyright under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY).

4. Ethical Guidelines

  • IJASTR follows the ethical standards set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
  • Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to uphold the principles of honesty, objectivity, confidentiality, and transparency.

5. Authorship and Contribution

  • All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the research and agree to the submitted manuscript.
  • Changes to authorship after submission must be approved by all co-authors and the editorial team.

6. Data Sharing and Reproducibility

  • Authors are encouraged to provide datasets and supplementary materials where applicable to support reproducibility.
  • Any restrictions on data sharing should be disclosed during submission.

7. Conflict of Interest

  • Authors must disclose any financial or personal conflicts of interest that may influence their research.
  • Reviewers and editors must also declare conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from handling such manuscripts.

8. Copyright and Licensing

  • Upon acceptance, authors grant IJASTR the right to publish their work.
  • Articles are licensed under CC BY, allowing others to share and adapt the work with proper attribution.

9. Withdrawal and Retraction

  • Authors may request to withdraw their manuscript before acceptance.
  • IJASTR reserves the right to retract articles in cases of proven misconduct, plagiarism, or ethical violations.

10. Appeals and Complaints

Complaints regarding publication ethics or other concerns will be handled according to COPE guidelines.t.

Authors may appeal editorial decisions by providing valid justification.
